Dr. jur. Peter Stegelmann
Managing Director

Dr. Stegelmann holds a doctorate of law and has worked in the past as a lecturer, treasurer, economic affairs officer and managing director of an education society. His increasing interest in educational themes and topics led him to concentrate more and more on tertiary education. Since 2001, he uses this broad experience in strategic management and future-oriented reorganization for EDU-CON. For many years he has consulted numerous universities and accompanies them in their international recruitment.

Dr. phil. Gertrud Hovestadt
Authorized signatory and scientific director

She leads the EDU-Research division and, if important scientific questions within the consultation process arise, she supplements EDU-consulting with her team. She led the scientific secretariat of a council of experts on education. She was responsible for the project management, conceptualization of further developments, as well as for research and transfer tasks and the international comparisons of educational systems, including the assistance on reports, among other things, for education financing and further development of vocational training. She trained employees and in a consulting firm she took over the part of staff development.

Since 2001 she has brought this broad experience in evaluating and consulting educational institutions and their offers to EDU-CON. With various market studies, she supports universities from different regions in their successful performance education landscape. She holds a doctorate in sociology, pedagogy and business studies (AfW).

Otto Pompe
Research Associate and Senior Consultant

He is a research associate, trainer for distance counseling and methodology of professional consulting. He has completed advanced training in industrial psychology and client-centered communication and has several years experience in advising prospective students. For EDU-CON, he develops seminar and consulting concepts. Otto Pompe is a sociologist M.A. and a registered member of the professional advisor of the DVB register.

Ina Bode
Senior Consultant

Due to her higher education in visual communication and professional experience, which she, among other things, gained when she worked as head of the department of art & cross-media design at the ArtEZ Enschede, as well as through her nine years of working as managing director in a design industry company, Ina Bode is the specialist for the design division. Her strength of will, strategic thinking and technical know-how is just as valid as her creativity and innovative thinking.

Ronnie Pieters
Senior Consultant

He develops strategies and supports their implementation. He has more than twenty years of experience in the world of international marketing. For twelve years he served as senior and marketing director in the tourism industry. He has led the internationalization of Stenden Hogeschool for over ten years in four continents for more than 25 target countries. He was responsible for strategic planning of national and international markets and the development of the corporate and communication of the university. In this field, he made important decisions for the managing committee including the establishment of Stenden campuses in South Africa, Qatar and Thailand. He has managed an international recruiting network of recruitment agents and adjusted the target agreements and contracts on the different markets. His academic background is a master in international service marketing and management.

Robert Albert Marzell
Research Associate

Robert Marzell holds a degree in economics, works as a professional job counsellor for the Federal Employment Agency, is the organizer of a lot of higher education days and the author of numerous publications on Dutch higher education.

Dr. Bettina Lendzian
Project Manager

Bettina Lendzian is a political scientist MA, Ph.D., media scientist and media educationist with a promotion at the Institute of Journalism at the University of Hamburg. She is a freelance author in radio and television.

Dietmar Schmale
Seminar coach for medicine, psychology, studying in Holland and art/design.

For several years Dietmar Schmale has been a trainer for EDU-training. He brings his experience from his medical studies at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster, as well as his studies at the Academy voor beeldende kunsten in Enschede. In Enschede he absolved a bachelor of arts.

Marita Unterauer
Office manager and project manager for the Netherlands

Marita Unterauer is responsible for office management and for Edu-Con since 2003. She is operating in the area of consulting. She delegates, coordinates and supervises projects and campaigns.

Jens Wösten
Bachelor of Computer Science

He is the man for all technical and administrative issues. A computer scientist, who is always equipped with the latest know-how and can also explain complex issues so that they can be understood, in one sentence - the perfect interface between man and computer.

Michael Schulte
Bachelor of Design - Media Designer

As a designer of the EDU-DESIGN team, Michael Schulte ensures that photographs, lines, texts and pixels are in the right place due to his professional experience and profound education in media design. To deepen his knowledge and skills next to his work for the next EDU-DESIGN, he successfully completed a study at the ArtEZ Enschede in Cross Media Design.

Ralf Gatto
Master of Education

Ralf Gatto studied Dutch and Catholic theology in a teaching degree program at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster. He has worked for EDU-CON since 2002. He is responsible for translations and CMS. He co-developed the Dutch course Taalcursus123 and works as a language instructor since 2008.

Pia Niehues
Bachelor of Communication Science

Pia Niehues studied communication science and business studies as part of a major-minor-Bachelor at the Westfälischen Wilhelms- University in Münster. Since 2006, she is working for EDU-CON in the area of research and project management for non-European countries.

Kristina Jäger
Bachelor of Arts

Kristina Jäger studied japanese studies and history at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf. In the EDU-CON team, Kristina supervises projects with non-European cover. Since 2008, she works for EDU-CON in the area of research and project management.

Dominique Da Silva
Bachelor of Communication Management

Dominique Da Silva studied Communication Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück, located in Lingen. Since 2009, she works for EDU-DESIGN in the area project management. She already gained experiences at i. a. RTL and United Labels AG.

Janine Lohroff
Project Manager

Janine Lohroff works in the department of EDU-CONSULTING. She delegates, coordinates and supervises projects and campaigns. She always ensures a customer-oriented consultation.

Marina Becker
Office Clerk - Organization

With her attention for details and her meticulous reliability, Marina Becker is responsible for the integrated control of the team. She prepares tasks and provides a detailed follow-abiding safe. In 2010 she has successfully completed her apprenticeship at EDU-CON as an office clerk.

Katrin Teipen
Clerk for office communication - Organization

With specific organization, Katrin Teipen ensures the EDU-Training Team, with all its various skills and talents, works together in the same direction. At EDU-CON she absolves an apprenticeship in the area of office communication.

Larissa Woltering
Consultant

Larissa Woltering consults on the subject of living and studying in China. She has lived and worked there for several years and has an extensive knowledge of higher education, living conditions and the work environment. Larissa Woltering is a management assistant in wholesale and foreign trades, and has studied East Asian Studies.

Katarzyna Belzek
Student Assistant

Since 2007, Katarzyna Belzek has studied Communication Management at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, located in Lingen. She has worked for EDU-CON since 2005 in the area of research and project management, with emphasis on Eastern Europe.

Since 2007 My Anh Hang studies several fields at the ArtEZ Enschede Her strengths are Graphic Design, Photography, Illustration and Media Art.

Pascale Brinkel
Media Designer / Student Assistant

Pascale Brinkel has studied Art & Cross Media Design at the ArtEZ Enschede since 2008 and has an educational background as a media designer. Pascale described in three words - creative, consistent, conscientious.

Marc Hildebrand
Student Assistant

Marc Hildebrand studies Germanic and History at the Westfälischen Wilhelms-University Münster. Since 2005 he is working for EDU-CON in the area of e-newsletter editing.

Niroja Kumaranantham
Student Assistant

Niroja Kumaranantham supports the Edu-Con Team actively with her spirit, commitment and ambition. On www.tv-edu.de she performs in informative short films and persuades, due to her open nature and her talent, to not miss the wood for the trees.

Jana Hopp
Student Assistant

Next to her study, Jana Hopp retrieves her power for Edu-Con. Amongst other things, she supports the Edu-Con Media Team in creating informative short films on www.tv-edu.de.
